Occupational therapy for adults and kids that reaches across distances

  • Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA’s) explore how a person’s disability impacts their ability to complete everyday activities and participate in home, school, work, and community life. FCA reports identify a participant’s strengths, goals, functional abilities, and support needs, with a focus on safety, independence, and meaningful participation.

We use a combination of standardised assessment tools, observation, and consultation with key supports to develop clear, NDIS-aligned reports. Recommendations support access requests, plan reviews, and funding decisions, and are tailored to the participant’s individual circumstances and environment.

Functional Capacity Assessments can be completed in person or via telehealth. They typically require 10–15 hours of Occupational Therapy time (including time spent face to face and report writing). This may vary depending on the participant’s needs and complexity.

  • We provide comprehensive Supported Independent Living (SIL) assessments to determine a participant’s support needs within their home environment. Assessments consider how a person’s functional abilities, support needs, and risks fluctuate across the day and night, including routine, unplanned, and overnight supports, to determine appropriate support ratios.

Our approach is evidence-based and person-centred, incorporating observation, assessment tools, and collaboration with participants, families, carers, and providers where appropriate. Reports include clear, robust clinical justification and practical recommendations to support NDIS planning, reviews, and decision-making.

SIL assessments can be completed in person or via telehealth, and typically involve 20–25 hours of Occupational Therapy time. This includes time spent face to face and report writing, however may vary depending on complexity.

  • We provide Occupational Therapy assessment, prescription, and trial of assistive technology to support participants to engage safely and independently in everyday activities. This includes identifying appropriate low-cost, mid-cost, and complex assistive technology options based on individual needs and goals.

Our service includes assessment, equipment trials, recommendations, and reporting aligned with NDIS assistive technology guidelines. All recommendations are practical, evidence-based, and consider the participant’s environment, capacity, and long-term needs.

  • We deliver goal-focused Occupational Therapy intervention to support participants to develop functional skills, increase independence, and improve participation in daily life. Intervention may focus on self-care, functional mobility, motor skills, daily routines, sensory regulation or environmental modifications.

We work with NDIS participants across the lifespan, supporting children, adolescents and adults with a wide range of disabilities.

Our approach is person-centred, strengths-based, and culturally responsive. When working with Aboriginal participants, we recognise the importance of family, community, culture, and connection to Country. We work collaboratively with participants, families, carers, and local services to ensure supports are culturally safe, respectful, and relevant.

Our therapy is evidence-based and individualised, with ongoing review to ensure supports remain relevant and effective. Progress and outcomes are clearly documented to support NDIS reporting, plan reviews, and future planning.

  • Telehealth services provide flexible and accessible Occupational Therapy support for participants who are unable to access face-to-face services. This model is well suited to participants in regional and remote locations across Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

Telehealth may include assessments, intervention, consultations, caregiver coaching, and functional reviews. Services are delivered using secure platforms and adapted to ensure engagement, cultural safety, and meaningful outcomes.

  • We help people with disabilities to apply for access to NDIS funding by completing Access Request Forms and supporting evidence.

This is typically funded privately or via grants. Please get in touch for more information or for a quote if you are requiring support with your NDIS Access Request.
